Shopping and Dining
The community is just south of Tunnel Road, which means plenty of shopping and dining within a 5-minute drive. Stores like Rite Aid, Ingles, and the UPS Store, along with restaurants like Sonic, McDonald’s, Copper Crown, and the Ultimate Ice Cream Company are all nearby. There’s also a post office in the area. Head a little further west to the Asheville Mall where you’ll find stores like Barnes & Noble, Whole Foods, Best Buy, TJ Maxx, JCP, and H&M among dozens of others. Of course, Asheville is known around the world for its fresh farm-to-table dining, and there are hundreds of restaurants scattered throughout the city.

ViewPointe is also practically within walking distance of the Asheville Recreation Park where there is no shortage of ways to enjoy the great outdoors. Not only does the Swannanoa River flow through the park, but the 42-acre Western North Carolina Nature Center and Zoological Park is located here. Transportation
Interstates 40 and 240 are a few miles from ViewPointe, and Tunnel Road is less than half a mile from the community’s gated entrance. Asheville’s ART public transportation system also serves the ViewPointe area.
