Carriage Park is a planned community made up of 11 separate neighborhoods that, combined, will eventually have 700 homes. The gated community doesn’t have any age restrictions, but it is ideal for someone looking for a 55+ community. A combination of condos, townhomes, and single-family homes are available, and some offer one-level living or the master bedroom and bathroom on the main level. Prices typically start at around $350,000.

Hendersonville is home to over 100 shops and 25 restaurants. Not only will you find locally-owned boutiques in the downtown area, but head a little further out to find your favorite big box stores, like Walmart, Ingles, Tractor Supply, Home Depot, and Lowe’s. Hendersonville is also home to the Blue Ridge Mall, where you’ll find dozens of stores and restaurants.

There are several small neighborhood parks and green spaces near the Carriage Park community, including Mills River Park. Here, you’ll find a multi-use trail, dog park, picnic shelter, tennis courts and playground, along with a handicapped accessible fishing pier and canoe or kayak launch. Head a few miles south to the Dupont State Forest or Gorges State Park to enjoy even more of the area’s natural beauty and outdoor fun.

Numerous doctors, pharmacies, and other medical professionals and services are available in Hendersonville and nearby Asheville. Pardee Hospital is just under three miles from the community, while Park Ridge Hospital is about five miles away.

Carriage Park is located in the city of Hendersonville in Hendersonville County, just moments from its charming downtown area. This city of around 14,000 people is known for its peaceful small-town atmosphere and plenty of Southern hospitality. Over the years, the buildings here have been revitalized through historic preservation, and a stroll through downtown is a must for your bucket list. Take in a play, musical, or concert at the Flat Rock Playhouse, visit a brewery or orchard, attend one of the city’s many festivals, or visit one of the museums in town, like the Mineral and Lapidary Museum. Asheville is just under 25 miles from Carriage Park.

Transportation
Asheville Regional Airport is just under 10 miles away from the community, while the Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport is approximately 50 miles away. Carriage Park is just a few miles from Interstate 26. Residents can also take advantage of Hendersonville County’s Apple Country Public Transit.
